One of our favorite silkmoths of the southwest

and a first of the year for us.

Outside the front door to the Marathon Public Library:

Sphingicampa hubbardi, Hubbard's Small Silkmoth
Had to check out those watermelon-colored uppersides to its hindwings.  There's one.

All the cool beings hang out at the library.

    1. The photo caption reads "Sphingicampa hubbardi, Hubbard's Small Silkmoth" -- so the answer to your query is there.
